School Break Programs

Out of School Programs

MAYC offers full day programs for local youth ages 1st-9th grade when school is on break.  Programs are primarily during summer, spring and winter breaks.  MAYC programs offer a safe space for youth when they are not in school.  The programs include recreational and educational activities plus lots of fun field trips to local parks, pools, museums and more!

Our goal is to ensure all students have a safe and supportive place to go when school is not in session. All full day programs are low or no cost for families based on household income.

Summer Day Camp

MAYC hosts a full day camp with age-specific activities. Youth enjoy field trips to parks, pools, and museums; as well as skill building programs like reading, crocheting, and social development. This program supports 120 youth per year!

  • Open to youth who will be in 1st grade – 9th grade in the Fall of 2024
  • Two locations: Mahomet United Methodist Church & MAYC Clubhouse
  • All attendees must be members & register for the program
  • Registration is a first come, first serve basis
  • Fees are $28 per day & are billed based on daily attendance

Spring & Winter Break

MAYC offers full-day out-of-school programming with age specific activities, trips, and skill building during spring and winter school breaks for working parents. This program supports 80 youth per year!

  • Open to youth who will be in 1st grade – 9th grade in the Fall of 2023
  • One locations: MAYC Clubhouse
  • All attendees must be members & register for the program
  • Registration is a first come, first serve basis
  • Fees are $28 per day & are billed based on daily attendance

MAYC Membership

Membership is open to all students ages 6-16.

  • There is an Annual Membership Fee of $20.00 per year, per student, for all
    students attending MAYC all-day, out-of-school programs.
  • There is a cap of $50 per family each year for the Annual Membership Fee.
  • Scholarships or reduced rates are not available for the Annual Membership Fee.

**Note that Annual MAYC Membership is required for participation in all programs (summer, winter, spring & afterschool) but does NOT guarantee a spot in the programs.  Separate registration for each program will be required for a spot in the program.**
