MAYC programming is not funded by federal or state aid. Our funding predominantly comes from donations, sponsorships, and events. Since the community is our biggest source of funds, we value the stewardship of funds greatly. We have been recognized for our low cost to serve youth, helping hundreds of the local youth per year for significantly less money than other organizations that have much larger budgets.

Our biggest fundraiser of the year is the MAYC Auction. Local business and community members help make this event a huge success by donating a variety of goods and experiences. Our auction committee would love to have you involved. Successful auction items include:

Items can be dropped off at MAYC Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Donation receipts are available upon request.
How are we funded?
Fees collected typically account for less than 50% of the funds needed to operate programs.
